Well it depends on puppy's age and breed .. 🔴but in general pups will start responding to training and remembering what you taught mostly after 2months(8 weeks ) of age.

After 2 months start with simple commands like sit , come , stay don't expect them to be doing more the first week .. also positive reinforcement seems to work better❌ never scold your pup

Healthy Natural treat for your puppy Apples 🍎 Green Peas Carrots 🥕 Loaded with beta carotene and other vitamins, carrots are almost guaranteed to be in your kitchen anyway. Why not cut up some bite-sized pieces and use them as a healthy reward? be sure that the carrot pieces are an appropriate size. ◾Green Beans 🍉 watermelons Cooked Sweet Potatoes 🍠

Make sure to cut these in to really small pieces suitable for your puppy and boil if needed

If you are planning to give your puppy commercial treats The only exception is that even though a puppy can eat dog treats, some treats can be tough for their developing teeth to chew. Choose the right one according to the breed and age of puppy

Begin by holding a dog treat in front of your dog's nose. Lift the treat over the top of your dog's head to encourage them into a sitting position. As your dog lifts their head to follow the treat, they should naturally sit. Reward your dog for their good behaviour.

Repeat these steps several times a day until your dog understands. After this, continue to use the hand gesture and gradually remove the treat. Once your dog reliably sits, you can introduce a verbal cue at the same time.

From the stage of 2-5months is the best for any breed to get trained. As special treats you could feed them flavoured ice in summer, dentastix, jer-high, pedigree chicken gravy chunks, calcium bones, bacon (dry) , salami and cucumber+carrot.

Since Suzy is 2mo, you can go slow and start with really simple ones like SIT, STAY, LIE DOWN, JUMP. She'll be motivated and enjoy the bond you'll gradually create together. Happy pawrenting to you. Beautiful days are these! 💕🌻

Treats shouldn't be over 10% of diet. Or just balance the meal when rewarding generously. Lots of treats are available in the market. But do check out the ingredients first. Try keeping them closer to Suzy's taste. :)

I agree with Vani treat should not be given too much Overdoing it could lead to tummy issues (and messy stools) in the short run, and weight gain in the long term. Because obesity in dogs can lead to serious health problems

It would be good if you give natural treats like small pieces of chicken or carrots which are preferably more healthier

Also, post training you may reward with something natural. Say frozen carrot in summers. :)
