1st think stop giving RC switch your dog food to (taste of the wild) puppy. That's the best dog food.

So, from the start Hugo was introduced to homemade food. He is having paneer, fruits like banana, apple, guava etc. He eats boiled veggies as well like pumpkin, bottle gourd, carrot, peas, broccoli etc. He loves eating peanut butter once in a while.

Also, never feed chocolate, grapes, onion, garlic or raisins to your dog. Its very dangerous for then.

Also, add Sweet Potato and watermelon to the list. They're great for your dog. Just remove the seeds of the watermelon before giving and boil the sweet potato.

Sharing the list of items I've fed Gadhu in his early pupper days, he's 5mo now. 1. Peanut butter ๐Ÿฅœ (sparingly) 2. Homemade plain popcorn (sparingly) 3. Apples ๐ŸŽ (moderately) 4. White rice (for binding stool, when he was weak) - Although he's a Lab, he had been underweight for 1.5 months and touchwood now Gadhu is in good shape.๐ŸŒป 5. Curd/ buttermilk (daytime) 6. Cooked vegetable frozen treat topped with turmeric and pumpkin dust - made one batch today itself. - as treats/ food topping 7. Bananas (moderately) 8. Cucumbers - diced and as treats 9. Watermelon ๐Ÿ‰ - introduced this summer 10. Boiled green beans - Gadhu is an ardent fan of these โ˜บ๏ธ frozen bites for summer treats. โœ…Quick tip: You may avoid giving commercial dog biscuits in summers if it gets too hot there. Instead freeze homemade bits and bites. In addition to De Rohan's suggested list, no ice-creams too, despite us enjoying the same.
