It's okay to give plush toys to your dog. Hugo has some as well. He even has one with him which is with him since he was 2 months and had just came home.

Yes Krisha is right โœ… Stuffed toys are perfectly safe. But that fluffy stuffing may seem harmless, when your puppy eats it, there is a risk of it lodging in his stomach or intestines and causing an intestinal blockage, which can be fatal if left untreated.

yes ann mary, plushies are not that bad for doggos, just monitor your baby๐Ÿถ to check that they don't swallow the eyes or buttons on the toy. Also with time, they might rip off the toy and pull out all the cotton inside. if your pooch doesn't eat that cotton, it can be a new game, just fill up the toy again and again๐Ÿ˜„

Hey Ann, sharing a list of toys and bones you may avoid giving Jake when unattended: - Stuffed toys with stuffing and polyfill to avoid any blockage - Squeaky toys have a certain mechanism that can cause choking hazard when swallowed - Cooked bones can splinter and injure the trachea - Rubber balls with single hole can cause suction in mouth: make sure that ball chosen for Jake has either multiple holes, or no holes at all. - Too small toys that could possibly be swallowed - Rawhides - If Jake chews on rawhide bones but does not eat them they are relatively safe, but if he has could chew off large pieces of rawhide (especially the end pieces of bones) then rawhides can be extremely dangerous. It's better to avoid altogether. There are innumerable research articles on the same.

True Denita. I myself realised this when Gadhu was returning from vet's, he was playing with our car toy, took out his eye, and that moment I realised how careful we got to be around toys, not all human baby toys are safe for puppers.

Most dogs really enjoy playtime with their stuffed animal toys and that is harmless as long as they are not acting obsessive or aggressive, and the stuffed toy is specifically designed for dogs. Your dog should not be at risk of a choking hazard unless he is trying to chew through it.๐ŸŒบ
