digging is a very common and genetic behavior in dog and dont always stop him as it's a behavior of a dog and very common but do not allow him to bite the bed it can become a habit, your dog is 6 month and in this age dog develop many new things you need to give maximum time in this age

dogs have scent glands on the bottom of their feet, which secrete a distinct pheromone. Scratching at something can be a way for your dog to show others they have marked a bed as their own.

You can decide to not allow your dog into your bed or only allow your dog on your bed when you are able to pay close attention to her behavior. To encourage your dog to sleep elsewhere, you can create a comfortable space for her to sleep in where he can dig as he likes. Boxes and open crates are also helpful. Then, you can encourage your dog to rest in this area, offering praise and treats when your dog chooses the area to rest in..
