After 6 months he ll start being territorial. But some dogs are friendly. It's all about their character. But every dog ll take care of its territory. Some dogs ll be friendly, it doesn't mean that it ll allow everyone into territory. Males r friendly, female are very territorial. Don't worry, at age of 6mnths it ll understand it.
