Do I need pet insurance for my puppy Gadhu, Labrador Retriever, 5 mo? Like I hope nobody asks me to show his ID if i have to travel with him, I just have his vaccination records etc.π€

You need vaccination passport and health certificate from a qualified vet 1-2 prior to journey. He should be free from infectious diseases before travelling and should have all his vaccinations completed.

Pet insurance usually doesn't cover vet expenses, due to which I am never in favour to get it done. However, to travel abroad or in a flight, you need to show them the routine health checkup of last 10days. I am not aware about the pet ID though.
