How much water is sufficient water for puppies in summers? I find my 5mo Labrador Retriever Gadhu not enjoying plain water. I tend to add flavours like buttermilk, vegetable juice, coconut water, then he drinks and enjoys. Is that okay? Though post workout, he does drink water but otherwise he acts choosy.

Foods good for dogs in summer that can hydrate your puppy
Watermelons. Watermelons are 90% water and hence they make an ideal summer food for all pets
Cucumbers
Coconut Water (even we used to drink this in summer, it has a cooling effect and also a pure one )
Yogurt and buttermilk
Mangoes

Popular choices among pet owners include low-sodium chicken broth . Just be sure that the flavouring enhancing your dog's water doesn't interfere with their regular diet and is something you know will taste good to them.

This is amazing if he is taking all these drinks and these are possibly the best kind of. However, for regular water, you could keep a bowl of water equiv two cup which should be repeated in every 2-3 hours.

Generally, young puppies need about one-half cup of water every two hours. You'll want to monitor your puppy to make sure he's drinking enough.. and not too much. Older puppies that have already been weaned generally need between one half ounce and one ounce of water per pound of body weight per day.
If he doesn't drink plain water then give coconut water or watermelons.πΊππ
