Is Royal Canin Starter good for puppies? A:Yes it is good for baby dog.. A:You use it once your puppy complete 45 days. A:If you mean Labrador then don't buy this. Go for Royal Canin Maxi Puppy.

Our vet suggested we give our three-month-old Shih Tzu Pedigree PRO Expert Nutrition Mother & Pup Starter. He said it's nutrient rich and is therefore a good choice for young puppies. Further, Berkeley can often be fussy with food but he seems to enjoy the flavour a lot. Puppies twelve weeks and under should be given mum and pup starter, not puppy food. Puppy food is meant for dogs 3 months and over. Royal Canin and various other brands have mum and pup starters, too, but we prefer Pedigree's.
